The Island of Dr. Moreau by H.G. Wells

I picked this up for bookclub. We are working on the classics. This one definitely is a classic, but it has definitely not held up over the years. The theme of the story is good, but details are old, understandably.
It was worth reading, anyway. It does have a message that holds up. The reader just needs to remember that it is an old book.
