Fifty years ago yesterday, according to the above linked article, Sesame Street debuted Rubber Ducky. It’s still a song that everyone seems to know. What would we do without this catchy tune working its way into our brains on occasion? Happy anniversary!

The above linked article shows the upcoming events that NYPL is hosting for their 125th anniversary this year. Some are online. Some are at the libraries themselves. It looks like a good series, though.

I did sign up for the book a day emails. That should be fun.

Happy Anniversary!

I got a notification that yesterday was my anniversary with WordPress. I had started the blog on another site, but moved to this one after a few months.

Many posts and many books later, we are still here, and still having adventures.

I hope to get to the gym more, and travel some more. Many more books are going to be read. Hopefully many more adventures will be had, too.

Maybe more guest bloggers, but I sure hope that there will be more guest blog posts.
