This is a cute, very basic, scientific book for children. This book is about weather and the descriptions are simplified for a child. It gives enough information to satisfy basic curiosity, but leaves enough out to allow a child to do more research elsewhere.
I loved the humor of this book. A clumsy moose is so much fun. Playing with words is fun. The combination was fun to read.
I loved the illustrations and the unusual moose. It would make a good bedtime story, with the child laughing along.
This is a cute bedtime story that goes through many of the members of the town and what they do during the day. It takes all kinds to run a community, and the book shows great illustrations and tells good descriptions of the jobs that need to be done.
If you haven’t seen the YouTube video that this book was based on, please look it up. You’ll have the song stuck in your head forever.
The story is about going on to a new plan when the original plan doesn’t work. Something always comes around to save the day.
I recommend both the book and the video.
I wasn’t thrilled about the story and plot of this story, but the illustrations are wonderful.
I kept thinking that the snail, since he was at a picnic, would end up being part of the meal instead of eating it. It caused a little stress for me, especially since part of the illustration including the snail slime across the table. Ew.
This is a cute book about doing your research before choosing your perfect pet. It seems that an ostrich isn’t quite perfect for anyone who doesn’t live in large open spaces and doesn’t know how to feed one.
The illustrations are wonderful and the story is cute. It would make a perfect bedtime story.
I loved this book. I enjoyed it more knowing about the author’s first book, My Shadow is Pink. I knew the concept from the first book, so I didn’t have to think much about what the author meant when he referred to the child’s shadow.
The illustrations and the story were wonderful and I loved that it showed acceptance and friendship.
I would recommend this book to everyone!
