New Mattress Topper

I just got a new mattress topper, and it needs to sit without weight on it for several hours in order for it to inflate properly. Why is it that I want to take a nap as soon as it went on the bed?

I am a busy mom to two mini adult children. I am learning to do things that don't revolve around their schedules, and I am doing things for myself now. I am trying to bounce back after a difficult time, and it's slow going.
