I got this as a freebie audiobook. It surprised me that it is still considered a picture book even though we can’t see any pictures.
The imagination runs wild in this book, trying to get a child to think of the best pets for them. All of the pets mentioned are imaginary or inappropriate.
The story is cute, but I think it would have been better with pictures. It would make a good bedtime story, though.
