The story here was probably great, but I just couldn’t get over the narrator’s voices. I understand that they are supposed to be monsters, but it is also supposed to be a bedtime book. Couldn’t it have been toned down to make it less creepy? The monsters are supposed to be friendly and helpful, but the narrator makes them come across as scary.
