The above linked article talks about those musical artists who just never got past the one hit that made them almost famous. On the list are classics like Norman Greenbaum and Toni Basil. Devo and Tommy Tutone are a couple of the other well-known one hit wonders. There are a few that I had never heard of, but I had heard the songs before.
Of course, a personal favorite, Dexy’s Midnight Runners appears several pages down.
I haven’t found a list like this for books, yet, but I hope I do someday.
