This is a cute story with cute illustrations. It tells what happens when a giraffe loses a baby tooth. Until I read this, I had no idea that giraffes lost baby teeth. I also had no idea that giraffes didn’t have a tooth fairy, or that they didn’t get money for losing their teeth. The gift that was left and who left the gift was a surprise to me!
This is a great story for a child who might be close to losing teeth. It would help alleviate the fear about the loss.
