I heard the saying “Aim for Excellence, not Perfection” earlier this year, and I’ve been trying to remember it when I’m doing tasks. Excellence is achievable, but perfection is not. I really wish I knew where I heard it.
I’ve been trying to keep it in mind, especially with my schoolwork. I have been sitting on A’s, most of the semester, but I get nervous when I get a B on an assignment. The goal is to pass the class with some cushion, but my brain just doesn’t like that.
I hope to keep this in mind going into 2021. Excellence, not perfection.
