I saw this movie back when it came out in the theaters. It was terrifying then.
I watched it again, online with friends, a few weeks ago. We were able to type our comments to each other. This time, it was not as terrifying, since we could see the humor in the way it was filmed. There was some bad acting, and the special effects, although pretty good for its time, were just ok.
I am glad I took a chance and watched it again. It definitely isn’t the stuff of nightmares anymore.
