  1. I read ‘Monster’ a while back, but even though I remember liking the format I don’t recall much else about it. Most of the books I’ve read by Walter Dean Myers have been just OK but I really liked ‘Shooter.’ It’s written in a similar ‘different’ style and it ended up really exceeding my expectations.
