Growing Horns

The above linked article talks about the hazards of screen time.  Specifically handheld devices, such as cell phones.

Similar to a heel spur, the ligaments in the neck are pulling on the bone in the skull, so that a similar “horn” is growing at the base of the skull.  Supposedly, those who get the bone growth can probably feel it if they touch the base of their skulls.

It surprises me that reading isn’t a culprit.  I guess that people read in more varied positions than cellphone users.  Or, maybe there aren’t as many avid readers to test?
