A book with an unreliable narrator
I had to look up this topic. It seems that the unreliable narrator is mostly seen in horror stories, which I tend to avoid. I have bad enough insomnia to know to stay away from nightmare causing stories.
Eleanor Oliphant is completely fine might be an unreliable narrator story, though. It wasn’t horror by any stretch of the imagination, but Eleanor had a different take on the world and the reader didn’t know what was going on until the last few chapters.
